Displaying the solutions

Once you have made a search and downloaded the result, you can view your solutions (also called hits) in two ways:
  1. Full-screen view. This allows you to see one hit at the time. To see the next example, use the 'page down' button.
  2. Concordance view. This displays all solutions, with the search term in the centre.
To change between full-screen view and concordance view, just click on the button featuring a small blue square with lines that you can find on the toolbar. To change the amount of context displayed, you select the appropriate option from the drop-down box on the tool-bar: auto, sentence, paragraph, or max.
To see more context than what can be displayed in the concordance or full-screen view, you can browse the text.
  • Click on the bibliographic data button (featuring lines and a small, red circle) or use the Query menu (choose Query->Source). The Source Description box pops up.
  • Click on Browse. Clicking on the red square will take you to the position in the text where your example was found. Clicking on the + will allow you to browse the text from the beginning.
